Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or pickup from your Arusha hotel, you will be met by your professional safari guide and depart directly for Tarangire National Park. Arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or a picnic inside the park, your safari adventure begins in the afternoon with a game drive through Tarangire’s scenic landscapes. The park is renowned for its large elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and rich wildlife concentrated along the Tarangire River. After the game drive, proceed to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart Tarangire and journey toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park, traveling through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with spectacular scenery along the way. The day begins early with a sunrise game drive, when the Serengeti is at its most dramatic—cool air, golden light, and predators still active from the night. Lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards are often encountered at this hour. Alternatively, you may opt for an unforgettable sunrise hot air balloon safari (optional, at extra cost), floating silently above the plains as herds move below and the sun rises over the Serengeti—followed by a bush-style breakfast. After breakfast, the day continues with leisurely exploration of the Central Serengeti, including riverine areas and rocky kopjes. However, if your dream is to witness the Great Migration, the best time is between July and September, when millions of wildebeest and zebras cross into the Masai Mara in one of nature's most dramatic spectacles.
